This highland cottage has historic connections and the client was insistent in keeping the look and feel traditional. |
Between the rafters was sheeted gyproc fire board. Rafters and ceiling joists were abraded and varnished. Ceiling walls were finished with dulux emulsion as specified. Floor was completely re-sanded and varnished. |

We improved the sound proofing, sheeted over the old artex and plastered the damaged walls. A heavy grade lining paper was then hung leaving a perfect surface for decorating. |

A new door, facing and skirting board was fitted and two coats of emulsion were then applied to the ceiling and walls. A bonded coat was used to prepare the varnished window surround before painting to ensure good adhesion between coats. |
