Highland Cottage

This highland cottage has historic connections and the client was insistent in keeping the look and feel traditional.

Between the rafters was sheeted gyproc fire board.

Rafters and ceiling joists were abraded and varnished.

Ceiling walls were finished with dulux emulsion as specified.

Floor was completely re-sanded and varnished.

The contract was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of our client.

We received further contracts near this remote location.

Domestic Home

A domestic environment with poor sound proofing, old artex and damaged plaster were among this clients problems.

One call to Glasford Decorators....

We improved the sound proofing, sheeted over the old artex and plastered the damaged walls.

A heavy grade lining paper was then hung leaving a perfect surface for decorating.

A new door, facing and skirting board was fitted and two coats of emulsion were then applied to the ceiling and walls.

A bonded coat was used to prepare the varnished window surround before painting to ensure good adhesion between coats.
